Countdown to the DROP: Trip to REVOLVE
The Row in Downtown LA, known as The Row DTLA and it bears a striking resemblance to studios I've seen in Brooklyn. It's quite lovely here.
Walking into the Revolve studio itself was absolutely stunning, and the sight of all of the samples adorning the walls was profoundly inspiring.
When I arrived, I took a seat and waited for Bobby, the senior director of tech design and quality control at Revolve. He has been my support and guide throughout this entire journey. The pieces in my collection are complex and that they had to bring to life. It was a challenging process that needed careful sorting out, and having Bobby's invaluable assistance has been nothing short of tremendous. Upon seeing him after months of Zoom calls for the entire process it was great to finally meet him. We warmly greeted each other and he took me to an office that he created for me and proceeded to introduce me to the entire team. WOW!
Meeting the entire team was nothing short of inspirational in itself. And then, when I reached Jane, who heads Branding and had been instrumental in creating my tags and guiding me through the branding process, I was overcome with emotion as I gazed at those tags.
In that moment, I couldn't help but think to myself, 'Wow, this is real.' I didn't even realize I had spoken those words out loud until Bobby chimed in, 'Yes, it is!'
I am filled with immense gratitude for this incredible blessing on my journey.
